The Stringer Pallets
The outline of a stringer pallet has a two-way, implying that a forklift can lift it from two sides. The two stringers work within the top and base deck boards. The pallet size is the expanse of the stringer board heeded first and by the extent of the deck boards.
There are stringer pallets with a four-way design like a block pallet. The four-way form standard pallet can only provide a two-way entry if applying a pallet jack. It’s most suitable to adopt stringer pallets if you need to pay less money on pallets to send a half part load.
The Block Pallets
The layout of a block pallet is a four-way approach. It relates to its formation that enables a forklift to get the pallet to any side. The pallet materials of this form use blocks of hardwood, letting it carry the total load.
The form has nine blocks that hold seven top cover panels. The structure of these block pallets is best for shipping heavyweights. Due to their cost and quality, you may want to have them back after every shipment.
The Double-Face Pallet
The double-faced name pallet means you can use deck boards on both the top and base of the pallet. The bottom panel of deck boards has greater durability, and the heaviness of the load will be equal. It is excellent to prevent damage to the product during accidents like dropping a load.
Double-faced pallets are on the market in non-reversible and reversible prototypes. The design of a reversible pallet is more beneficial to carry a load on either side facing up or down. When you need pallets that can support heavy loads, a double-face design is the best choice.
The Winged Pallet
The Winged pallet has an essential style of deck boards, wing, or flap across the stringers. These types of pallets form have even boards, with the blocks and stringers arranged below them. There are two kinds of winged pallets.
A one-wing pallet has deck boards on the upper face of the pallet. The idea of the wings is so the pallets can handle higher volumes of weight as opposed to different pallets. Winged pallets are more convenient for moving oversized cargoes.
The Solid Deck Pallet
The other kind of wood pallet on the market is a hard deck pallet. It’s a pallet that applies one big layer of wood or plywood with no spaces instead of many deck boards. Under the single layer of wood, the form of the pallet stays like different standard pallets.
If you need to know more about other types of pallets, consider checking spillage pallets.
Choose From These Types of Pallets
Today, without these pallets, the world economy wouldn’t be as effective and thriving. The structure of the types of pallets can resist high pressure and carry heavyweights. Also, it gives easy lifting for pallet jacks and forklifts in shipment or cargoes.
