Given that you are cleaning the cabinets at regular intervals, Kraftmaid cabinets are always considered among the greatest cabinetry pieces for easy care and upkeep. The sooner you clean up errant food splatter on these cabinets, the easier it is to remove, just like any other cabinet component.

A natural birch wood grain laminate is used in the standard structure. Matching laminate or veneer interior options are available as upgrades. A natural birch veneer interior is included when the All-Plywood Construction upgrade is selected.

If you’ve had new Kraftmaid cabinets built, you already know how quickly they refresh your kitchen and how long they last.

Daily Maintenance Is Must-Do For Kraftmaid Cabinets

Dust your Kraftmaid Vantage cabinets with a moist, lint-free microfiber or cotton cloth regularly to keep them clean. The best cloth to use is a white cotton cloth; otherwise, certain brighter or darker hues may bleed dye onto the cabinet finish.

To avoid moisture damage, wipe any surfaces that appear damp with a dry lint-free cloth after dusting. While a small amount of moisture won’t affect the cabinets, excessive moisture could damage the plywood or ruin the cabinets in other ways.

Wet dishcloths or hand towels should also be hung away from the cabinet surface, according to KraftMaid. Long-term moisture exposure can potentially damage some cabinet surfaces or mar the finish.

Clean The Spills Immediately When Occur

If you have to clean up spilled or sprayed, use a clean, damp sponge or dishcloth. You can put a small amount of mild dish soap on the sponge to clean up tough messes. Clean the sponge, squeeze it out, and then wipe off the area with a dry, lint-free towel.

Avoid using abrasive cleaners, or nylon scour pads on the cabinet finish since they may damage it.

Use Warm Water And Soap Solution To Clean Kraftmaid Cabinets

Now and then, thorough cleaning of the kitchen and bathroom is required. Using a simple combination of warm water and oil soap, wipe off those Kraftmaid frameless cabinets. Fill a clean bucket halfway with clean water and add hot tap water to that bucket.

Fill the first bucket with a few capfuls of oil soap and swirl it around with a sponge or white cotton towel. After dipping the sponge in soapy water, drain away from the excess moisture. Wipe off the cabinet doors, tops, and frames with the sponge.

After that, wipe them down with a sponge soaked in the water-only bucket, wringing it out first.

Remove Items From Cabinets While Cleaning

It’s easier to do deep cleaning if you remove objects from cabinets; this allows you to fully clean the insides of cabinets and drawers. Allow all cabinets to air dry before wiping away excess moisture with a lint-free cloth if any cabinet section appears to be excessively damp.

Don’t Forget To Clean Kraftmaid Cabinet’s Doors

Especially those with glass inserts, KraftMaid cabinet doors require special attention. Rather than spraying the glass, apply the best glass cleaner to a white lint-free cloth and wipe it down, as runoff may seep between the glass and the doorframe, causing damage to the door.

Use light soap and water, clean the door and drawer hardware, then rub the metal dry with a lint-free cloth. Avoid using common metal polishes on cabinet hardware because they may include chemicals that can harm the door and drawer pulls.

Wipe the surface dry with a lint-free cotton cloth after wiping. When cleaning common household spills, use a moist cloth.
